Carlos Libedinsky, Argentine composer, producer, and bandoneonist, founder of the pioneering Electrotango group, Narcotango, in 2003.
His innovative work has brought tango closer to new generations and to audiences worldwide, exploring the emotional depth of traditional tango while incorporating contemporary elements, earning recognition both in Argentina and internationally. His music has been described as a sensory experience that brings tango into a modern context without losing its essence. 

Since 2008, he has built a solid creative and performance partnership with Argentine musician 

Mariano Castro, with whom he continues to this day to release new music and perform in concert halls and festivals around the world.

Narcotango was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in 2009 and 2010, the Gardel Awards 2010, and was distinguished as an Outstanding Cultural Personality in 2013 by the Legislature of Buenos Aires, Argentina. n 2024, we proudly received the "Tango 21st Century Award" in the "Electrotango" category, in recognition of our live album Anarcolonga.

He has established himself as a leading figure in the new musical and cultural expression of tango, performing on the most important stages, theaters, and festivals across the Americas and Europe, in more than 30 international tours, such as LINCOLN CENTER (Nueva York), SALA PALATULUI (Bucarest), CANECAO (Río de Janeiro), TEATRO BOLIVAR (Quito), PARADISO (Ámsterdam), PALAZZO DUCALE (Génova), MANDARIN CLUB (Hamburgo) TEATRO VICTORIA EUGENIA (San Sebastián), TEATRO INDEPENDENCIA (Mendoza), RADIO RAM (Wroclaw) Teatro LEON DE GRIEFF (Bogotá), TEATRO VASA (Estocolmo), NICETO (Buenos Aires) Teatro COLISEO PODESTA (La Plata), entre otros. With Narcotango, he has independently released 7 albums of original music: NARCOTANGO (2003), NARCOTANGO 2 (2006), NARCOTANGO en Vivo (2008), LIMANUEVA (2010), CUENCO (2013), NARCOTANGO ROUGE (2022), ANARCOLONGA (2023), and a DVD LIVE (2008, recorded at the Teatro Bolívar in Quito, Ecuador).

From 2016 to 2021, NARCOTANGO went through a period of hiatus, during which Carlos Libedinsky moved to Berlin and released the albums #FUEYE (2018), CIELO (2019), EL VIAJE AZUL (2020), and MONA IN BERLIN (2021), where the bandoneon immerses itself in South American rhythms and world music, creating a new soundscape with electronic beats, voices, and native instruments.

In 2017, he settled in Berlin, and after the Covid pandemic, the second phase of NARCOTANGO began, performing at renowned festivals and milongas in Europe and Argentina, successfully introducing tango dancers to the music of the album ROUGE (2022).

During 2023, their 20th anniversary year, Narcotango embarked on a major international tour, culminating in the album “Anarcolonga,” released in March 2024, which earned them the “Tango Siglo XXI” award in the Electrotango category.

In 2025, their musical production continues its creative expansion, releasing three inspired, cinematic singles on all digital platforms: “Abril,” “Antes de que amanezca,” and “Alado.” While continuing his performances at festivals and milongas in Europe and Argentina,

in the same year he created his new project, “Libedinsky Gotán Clüb,” where he explores Narcotango music with new formats and original compositions, where tango dialogues with electronic and chamber music, shaping soundscapes that connect contemporary Buenos Aires with a global musical aesthetic.
